May 6, 2015 – The Pennsylvania Hunger Caucus Co-Chairs, Senate President Pro Tempore Joe Scarnati and Representative Jake Wheatley, and other caucus members including Senator Bartolotta hold a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the next growing season of the Capitol Hunger Garden. This garden is maintained by volunteers to grow fresh vegetables that are donated to the Central PA Food Bank and local soup kitchens.
