April 20, 2015 – Senator Bartolotta recognized the California University of Pennsylvania Women's Basketball Team on the Senate floor for capturing the 2015 NCAA title for the second time in program history. The team includes: Paige Wright, Emma Mahady, Shatara Parsons, Seairra Barrett, Kaitlynn Fratz, Lana Doran, Morgan Jennings, Miki Glenn, Irina Kukolj, Cece Dixon, Brittany Nelson and Precious Martin. Players are joined by Head Coach Jess Strom; Assistant Coach Katie Tetzlaw; Volunteer Assistant Coach Kelly Sabo; the university's Athletic Trainer Dr. Shelly DiCesaro; and President Geraldine Jones. The team carried the memory of a fallen teammate along with them --- Shanice Clark who passed away earlier this year.
