On this edition of Focus on the 46th, I visited the 110th Annual Pennsylvania Farm Show and it never disappoints. I met up with some incredible young people from our local agricultural community, cuddled some goats, made a thumb-bee, bumped into Commissioner Jared Edgreen, and definitely got all my steps in (and more)! Thank you to everyone who makes this remarkable event possible!

On this edition of Focus on the 46th, we are meeting the inspiration behind the successful online movement, Accessible Hunter. Greg Traynor has been an avid hunter and fisherman since childhood but suffered a life changing injury after a freak accident in the late 1990s. Through the support of his wife, Beth, and his rock-solid positive attitude, Greg has continued to enjoy the outdoors and began encouraging others facing similar situations to do the same through his online persona, Accessible Hunter.

On this latest edition of “Focus on the 46th District”, I visit The Crafty Alpaca Farm Store in Avella to learn about these cute and fluffy animals and all the different ways their fiber is used. I would like to thank Mary and Linda for taking me on a tour of the farm and providing some fun facts about these cool creatures.
