Bartolotta Announces More Than $3.8 Million for 46th District Transportation Projects

HARRISBURG – Sen. Camera Bartolotta (R-46) announced today the approval of $3,822,396 in state grant funding to support critical transportation and infrastructure projects across Greene and Washington counties.

The funding was approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) through its Multimodal Transportation Fund Program, which supports projects that improve safety, promote economic development and enhance mobility for residents and businesses.

“A safe, reliable transportation network is essential to strong communities and economic growth,” Bartolotta said. “It is vital to address long-standing infrastructure needs, improve safety and support future development in the 46th district.”

Greene County

  • Center Township – Center Township Road Safety Improvement Project: $180,000 to rehabilitate Knight Hollow Road and Yorkshire Road.
  • Greene County – Waynesburg–Wisecarver Multi-Use Connector Trail: $260,000 for preliminary engineering of a multi-use trail connecting Waynesburg and Wisecarver along South Fork Tenmile Creek in Franklin Township.
  • Jefferson Township – Goslin Road Culvert Lining Project: $83,944 to rehabilitate a deteriorated culvert beneath Goslin Road.

Washington County

  • Amwell Township – East Hillsboro Bridge Replacement: $169,700 to replace the East Hillsboro Road Bridge.
  • Carroll Township – Columbia Road Landslide Remediation: $339,850 to remediate a landslide along Columbia Road.
  • Cecil Township – POHC Georgetown “Scalper” Bridge Improvement Project: $750,000 to improve vertical and horizontal clearance of the railroad bridge over Georgetown Road.
  • Donegal Township – Back Bone Road Slide Repair Project: $224,800 to rehabilitate Back Bone Road.
  • Independence Township – 395 Bridge Replacement Project: $140,000 to replace Bridge No. 395 on Sugar Run Road.
  • North Franklin Chestnut LLC – Washington Crown Center Redevelopment: $650,056 to repave the outer ring road at the Washington Crown Center in North Franklin Township.
  • Robinson Township – North Street Bridge Replacement Project: $175,931 to replace the North Street Bridge.
  • Speers Borough – Arentzen Road Bridge Widening and Safety Improvements: $600,000 for bridge and roadway enhancements along Arentzen Boulevard.
  • West Bethlehem Township – Loves Hill and Hainer Road Safety Improvement Project: $248,115 for paving improvements along Loves Hill Road and Hainer Road.

The Multimodal Transportation Fund provides grants to support the development, rehabilitation and enhancement of transportation assets, including roads, bridges, streetscape, lighting, sidewalk enhancement, pedestrian safety, connectivity of transportation assets and transit-oriented development.
