Bartolotta Announces 2026 Pennsylvania Ag & Youth Grant Awards in Washington County

HARRISBURG – Sen. Camera Bartolotta (R-46) announced today that several Washington County organizations will receive funding through the 2026 Pennsylvania Ag & Youth Grant Program, supporting projects that promote agricultural education, workforce development and leadership opportunities for young people.

The funding is awarded through the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture as part of the statewide Ag & Youth Grant Program, which was created through the 2019 PA Farm Bill.

“These grants are an important investment in our youth and the future of agriculture in Washington County,” Bartolotta said. “By supporting hands-on learning, workforce training and innovative agricultural education programs, we are helping prepare students with the skills they need to succeed in a growing and essential industry.”

  • California Area School District – The Greenhouse as a Living Classroom for STEAM, $5,658
  • California Area School District – Agri-Ready Youth Training in Veterinary and Animal Science, $24,000
  • Jeannette Hartley – Trinity Hydroponics Retrofit, $7,500
  • Pennsylvania Guernsey Breeders Association – PA Junior Guernsey Breeders Attendance at 27th National Convention, $7,500
