Bartolotta and PA Women Work to Host Free Career Kick-Start on May 21

WASHINGTON – Sen. Camera Bartolotta (R-46), in partnership with Pennsylvania Women Work, is hosting Career Kick-Start on Tuesday, May 21, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Frank Sarris Public Library, 35 N. Jefferson Ave., Canonsburg.

“The free, one-day workshop is a great way to get on the right path to boosting your job search and achieving your career goals,” Bartolotta said. “Connecting people with careers they enjoy and that support their families will encourage people to put their roots down in Pennsylvania, so I am proud to partner with PA Women Work to host this event.”

In the morning, participants will learn how to identify professional skills and strengths and communicate them on a resume and in interviews, as well as how to find and apply for job openings. During lunch, participants will be able to network and take a free professional headshot. In the afternoon, participants will meet individually with a career coach to refine their resume, take a career assessment and practice interviewing. Employers will also be onsite to connect with job seeker about open opportunities.
