Bartolotta, Pennsylvania Women Work to Host Career Building Open House on May 6

WASHINGTON – Sen. Camera Bartolotta (R-46), in a partnership with Pennsylvania Women Work, is sponsoring a free Career Building Open House on Friday, May 6, from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Washington Wildthings Stadium, 1 Washington Federal Way, Washington.

“With the current job market, many people are changing industries or pursuing different jobs that offer more flexibility in the same industry. It is a great time to dust off your resume and prepare for the process of getting a new job using the helpful resources that will be available at the Career Building Open House I will be hosting,” Bartolotta said.

At the open house, attendees will have the opportunity to get a free headshot taken by a professional photographer from 10-11 a.m. and receive expert advice to update or create their LinkedIn profile to use as a tool in their job search or career.

Dress for Success will have its mobile unit available for attendees to pick a new outfit for an upcoming job interview, and representatives of PA Career Link will be there to help with job-related questions.

Attendees will also have the chance to learn about free career building services, such as Pennsylvania Women Work’s New Choices program, and network with local community members and organizations.

Kayla Druga, talent manager for Arconic Human Resources, will be the special guest. Coffee and donuts will be available.

The public is welcome to stop by at any time during the event to participate in the career building offerings and network with others. While it is not necessary to RSVP for the event, please call Bartolotta’s office at 724-225-4380 with any questions.
