Senators Highlight Importance of Protecting Energy Jobs and Consumers

HARRISBURG – Senators Camera Bartolotta (R-46), Gene Yaw (R-23) and John Yudichak (I-14) held a press conference to discuss the need for responsible natural gas infrastructure and the good-paying jobs and lower energy costs associated with it on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the Main Capitol Rotunda.

With United States households already projected to see heating bills jump as much as 54% compared to last winter, speakers will discuss how the ill-conceived call for a moratorium on natural gas development will not only exaggerate energy costs on consumers but be detrimental for the environment and good-paying jobs across the Commonwealth.

Speakers included representatives from Pennsylvania’s esteemed building trade unions.
