Beaver County Career and Technical Center Awarded State Grant

HARRISBURG – The Beaver County Career and Technical Center will receive a state grant of more than $2,400 to improve educational programs for students, according to Senator Camera Bartolotta (R-46).

The additional funding will support the purchase of equipment to boost education in high-demand careers in Pennsylvania.

“We need to look for every opportunity to help our local students succeed and fill critical needs in the workforce,” said Bartolotta, who chairs the Senate Labor and Industry Committee. “I appreciate the fact that this grant will help build the workforce and open more doors for future graduates.”

The grant was awarded by the Pennsylvania Department of Education through the Career and Technical Education Equipment Grants program. A total of $1.2 million was awarded statewide through the program.
