Bartolotta, Stack to Host Pathway to Pardons Event October 14

HARRISBURG – Senator Camera Bartolotta (R-46) and Lieutenant Governor Mike Stack (D-PA) will host a free public event in Washington on October 14 to offer information on the pardons process.

The “Pathway to Pardons” event is designed to help community residents better understand the application process and meet the requirements necessary for an application to be considered. Applying for a pardon is the first step toward getting an individual’s criminal record expunged.

“Pardons offer a way for individuals who made a poor decision in the past to eventually wipe the slate clean and begin to rebuild their life,” Bartolotta said. “I appreciate the Lieutenant Governor’s willingness to help raise awareness of this critical issue and look forward to discussing the application procedure and answering questions about the process.”

The event will be held from 5-7 p.m. at Courthouse Square, 100 West Beau Street, Suite 103 in Washington. Individuals who are interested in participating can contact Lauren Adair in Bartolotta’s office by calling (724) 746-3762.
