Bartolotta’s Committee Assignments Reflect Needs of Local Communities

HARRISBURG – Senator Camera Bartolotta (R-46) has been appointed to serve on five additional Senate committees for the 2019-20 Legislative Session.

In addition to serving as Chair of the Senate Labor and Industry Committee – which is expected to consider a wide range of issues over the next two years, including workforce development – Bartolotta was also appointed to serve as Vice Chair of the Senate Intergovernmental Operations Committee; and as a member of the Senate Environmental Resources and Energy Committee; Senate Judiciary Committee; Senate Rules and Executive Nominations Committee; and Senate Transportation Committee.

“Each one of these appointments offers an opportunity to make progress on issues that matter to local communities,” Bartolotta said. “I look forward to playing an active role on these committees to tackle some of our region’s biggest priorities, including creating jobs for more community residents, repairing our roads and bridges, improving government efficiency, reforming our criminal justice system, and fighting against the governor’s repeated calls for a job-killing tax on the natural gas industry.”
