HARRISBURG – A state grant will support the rehabilitation of two water storage tanks in Ellsworth Borough in Washington County, according to Senator Camera Bartolotta (R-46).
The $85,000 grant will help repair and restore the borough’s two 150,000-gallon water storage tanks. The project will address rust spots on the interior of the steel panels and peeling paint on the exterior of the tank. The tanks will be drained, sandblasted and recoated.
The grant was awarded by the Commonwealth Financing Authority, an independent agency of the Department of Community and Economic Development that administers Pennsylvania’s economic development programs.
